PPR BOLT

IT ALL STARTED WITH A MOTOCROSS BIKE

In June, 2011, PPR founder, Greg Albertyn, former 3-time World and U.S. National Motocross Champion, took over sales at a well-known Southern California energy representative firm with the aim of connecting power equipment suppliers and dealers with the major players in the electric power industry. Born with an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to win, Albertyn quickly saw the vast, untapped opportunity of the SoCal power market and began accelerating business into high-gear.

Sales grew quickly, by more than 200% in 18 months, and manufacturers and power generation equipment suppliers soon followed. Greg was on fire! With his employer's blessing, Greg launched his own rep firm, Pacific Power Reps, in 2013.

The relevance of World and U.S. National Motocross Championships may seem distant to the industrial and electrical power industry, yet it is these same championship-winning character traits that bring Albertyn's success from one industry to the next. PPR’s promise to its utility and industrial customers and power equipment suppliers and manufacturers include the same level of integrity, dedication, determination, honesty, perseverance, and loyalty that won Albertyn many motocross championships. This championship-winning attitude continuously places Pacific Power Reps on the championship-winning platform.

Greg Albertyn
Founder & President

A three-time world motocross champion and US national motocross champion, Greg retired at age 27 and dove aggressively into real estate. He discovered the utility industry in 2011 when he took over sales for a SoCal manufacturer’s rep firm. After two years and strong success working with the Big Four Utilities in Southern California and all local municipalities, he branched out on his own in 2013, creating Pacific Power Reps. An entrepreneur at heart, Greg thoroughly enjoys being involved in the utility industry, serving as a partner in bringing innovative solutions that catapult the power and utility industry into the future.

Greg loves God, family, people, motocross, sales, real estate, innovation and business. Greg is involved as an owner in several businesses and always has his eye open for new opportunities to serve people’s needs. Greg has lived in Africa, Europe, and North America. He has learned a lot and has risen to the top of his field(s) on all three continents. His mission with PPR is to become the best rep company a customer and manufacturer could have.
